1. About Us
EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd operates the FastDoc platform, which facilitates remote medical assessments and the issuance of medical certificates where clinically appropriate.
Medical services are provided by independent doctors registered with the UK General Medical Council (GMC).
EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd provides the technology platform and administrative services.
2. Our Service
FastDoc enables users to:
- Submit a medical questionnaire online
- Request a medical certificate
- Receive digital documentation where approved by a doctor
All certificates are issued subject to clinical review and professional judgement.
FastDoc does not provide ongoing medical treatment and does not replace your registered GP.
3. Not for Emergencies
FastDoc is not suitable for urgent or emergency medical situations.
If you experience:
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe bleeding
- Signs of stroke
- Suicidal thoughts or mental health crisis
- Any life-threatening condition
Call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department immediately.
For urgent but non-emergency concerns, contact NHS 111.
4. Eligibility
You must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be located in the United Kingdom at the time of submission
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information
We reserve the right to decline any request at our discretion.
5. Clinical Discretion
All medical certificates are issued at the sole discretion of the reviewing doctor.
Submission of a form and payment:
- Does not guarantee that a certificate will be issued
- Does not guarantee approval of requested wording
- Does not guarantee acceptance by third parties
If a request is not clinically appropriate or sufficient information is provided, it may be declined.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree that:
- All information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You will not misrepresent symptoms or circumstances
- You will not use any certificate for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
Providing false or misleading information may result in refusal of service and may constitute fraud.
FastDoc reserves the right to request additional information or proof of identity where necessary.
7. Fees and Payment
Fees are displayed before purchase.
Payment is taken at the time of submission to EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd.
If a certificate is declined for clinical reasons, FastDoc may:
- Issue a refund; or
- Retain a clinical review fee where clearly disclosed prior to purchase
We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time.
8. Delivery of Certificates
Approved certificates are delivered electronically via email.
It is your responsibility to:
- Provide an accurate email address
- Check spam or junk folders
- Download and store the certificate securely
FastDoc is not responsible for third-party email delivery failures.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds may be provided where:
- No clinical review has occurred; or
- A technical error prevented delivery
Refunds are generally not provided where a doctor has reviewed the submission but determined that a certificate is not clinically appropriate.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.
10. No Employment or Legal Advice
FastDoc provides medical documentation only.
We do not:
- Guarantee employer or third-party acceptance
- Provide employment advice
- Provide legal advice
Acceptance of any certificate is at the discretion of the receiving organisation.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above:
The total liability of EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd arising from any claim in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of income
- Rejection of certificates by third parties
- Decisions made based on inaccurate information provided by you
12. Data Protection
EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd processes personal and health data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
By using FastDoc, you consent to the processing of your personal data, including special category health data, for the purposes of:
- Clinical assessment
- Regulatory compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Service administration
13. Suspension or Refusal of Service
We may suspend or refuse service where:
- Fraud is suspected
- False information is provided
- Abuse of the service occurs
- Payment disputes or chargebacks are initiated
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials are owned by EMS Digital Ventures UK Ltd.
You may not reproduce or distribute content without prior written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.
Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updates.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
